The stables recording studio is a totally independent studio, and is the brain child of Douglas Sturrock, who has previously worked with some of the biggest names in UK music. Experimenting with sound is paramount to our philosophy, as is value for money, and customer satisfaction.

Based around a top of the range Pro Tools Mix24 recording system and a truly remarkable Trident 36channel mixing desk, the stables studio utilises vintage microphones and classic outboards alongside sophisticated computer technology, to achieve stunning results whatever your budget. Located in the centre of Eastbourne just walking distance from the railway station, the studio offers a relaxed and creative working environment. It boasts two live rooms (one giving some of the best live drum sounds in the South East) unlimited free parking and an easy ground floor load-in.

Here at the stables we believe strongly in the importance of sound at source and the studio has been designed specifically with this in mind.

We pride ourselves on our ability to listen, and feel that understanding exactly what our customers want is the most important part of any recording. Our philosophy and end goal is not for bands and artists to leave with a 'demo' but a professional recording of the highest quality.
